Finally experiencing warm weather each morning and on our way to Florida. We stopped in Pensacola for a week to take a much needed rest and to visit with my college friend who moved here a few years ago. Took some time to visit Pensacola Beach, the Navy Air Museum, and explore the beach town of Pensacola. The beach sand here is different than I have ever experienced in all our travels. White fine sand that doesn’t stick to everything! It was nice to visit with friends, cook some meals in a “real“ kitchen and slow down the pace of travel. A big thank you to my friend Kathy for her hospitality and the many trips to the grocery store and best of all some festive Christmas decorations for the boat!
