Headed out early today to Bradenton as we hop our way down the west coast of Florida. We spent a few days here waiting out the weather again and visiting with our friends Kathie & Dave from “Ramble on II”. It was good to catch up with them and celebrate the new year. Not much to do here within walking distance from the marina so spent the time taking walks and relaxing.

Check out the first picture below. We passed this ship coming into Bradenton. Note the line hanging (pilot ladder) over the side of the ship. It seems some areas require you to have a captain on board while in port. Once they are out of port the captain leaves the ship by the ladder. Seems a bit dangerous.
