After debating the weather for quite some time this morning we decided to head to Venice today with the understanding if it was too windy we could always return to the marina. It was a bit choppy for a few miles, but once we turned into the ICW 15mph winds were really not noticeable at all. Ended our day in Venice at Crow’s Nest Marina. This marina was located at the mouth of the channel and was quite bumpy all day-and night. Met a few new “Loopers” here and remained on the hardtop until it was time for bed. Definitely would not stay here again, but the marinas in this area took quite a hit from hurricanes, Ian just last year, and several of them still remain closed.
