This was not one of our better days on the water. We experienced everything from sunshine, to cold, rainy, foggy and windy! We arrived at Fort Pierce City Marina late in the afternoon and were happy to know that Nick had arrived here as well. As you may know he is living in Ft. Lauderdale on his sailboat and took the time to sail up to Ft. Pierce to visit with us. It was good to spend some time with him and finally celebrate Christmas, although a few weeks late.
During the week we visited the Seal Museum, a few of the area beaches, and completed some boat maintenance-oil changes, etc. We also treated ourselves to a special Christmas dinner at an area steakhouse where Nick finally had his Tomahawk Steak. Of course we also spent some time getting to know Mabel, yes I have to admit a very well behaved dog, fishing on the docks and attempted a brief sail although the weather did not cooperate.
As we will be here for a few months I will begin to update this journal weekly. Hoping that you all have a mild winter!

Our trip on day 207.
