Our next stop included visiting more "Looper" friends, Susan & Chuck. We spent a great deal of time last year traveling together through Canada and down the interior river system. They have since sold their looping boat and upgraded to a beautiful Sabre. We wish them luck on their new adventures in the Chesapeake Bay and bouncing back and forth to the Bahamas.
We were lucky to get a camping spot near the water at Jetty Park. The park was right on the water a short walk to the beach and jetty. The only drawback was the noise and blocked view from the enormous cruise ships that dock here awaiting trips to the Bahamas. (See photo bottom right).
The weather is finally getting warmer, although no beach days in sight. We took some time to visit the Kennedy Space Center. The last time we were here the boys were very young. So much has changed including the addition of Spacex and Blue Origin. Between these two companies there was a rocket launch nearly every other day during our visit. It never gets old to see a space lauch.
