The four of us took a few days to return to our respective marinas. Another adventure including a small fire in our hotel and a few long days of traveling in the car. As the weather still was not cooperating we took a few days to plan our next week underway, contemplating a long overnight trip across the bay to Tampa. Again the weather wasn’t acceptable to make this trip so we decided to begin the slow, short-hop trip down the west coast of Florida. We will be joining our friends SuSan & Chuck from “Jagger” to take this trip. They are from the east coast of Florida and familiar with these waters. Always good to have local knowledge when traveling. Thankful they will be traveling with us for the next week or so.
