As we meander our way south we needed to spend some time with friends in the area of Ft. Pierce. We truly love this area with its many beaches, great restaurants, and a variety of short hikes. We stayed at Road Runner Campground which is rather unique having both year round trailers and travel trailers. It is a large campground having a swimming pool, 3-hole golf course, as well as an onsite restaurant.

The weather left much to be desired during our visit although much better than many parts of Florida. We had a few nice days and even made a visit to the beach although much of the time was rainy and overcast with highs in the 50's. Still warmer than many parts of Florida as reports of 5+" of snow in the panhandle as well as Texas!!

We had a delicious "Thanksgiving" dinner as a send off from our good friend Kathy. It was nice to spend time with her and her friends that we have met over the past several years. Looking forward to seeing her and Dave sometime this summer.
