We all decided we needed a short running day so we headed to “Kuchies”, one of the many restaurants on the river that provide a few places to dock overnight if you visit their restaurant. No amenities, but the next lock is only a few minutes away. This will allow us to wait while being tied up rather than floating around and trying to maintain our position outside the lock wall. Kuchies is famous for their ice cream sundaes which are a bit over the top. Tomorrow will be a long day to Logston tug so very appreciative of a short day on the river, even if we don’t have electricity!
