Although the weather looked a bit iffy we decided to leave the comfort of Kilmarnock and headed for the Solomons. We had heard several reports of needing near perfect weather as we would be crossing the mouth of the Potomac River. We were grateful as we began to pass the mouth of the River that the seas were calm at about 1’. There was no large wave action, strong currents or sea monsters getting in our way!🤪 🦑. Smooth traveling all day today.

We only spent one night in the Solomons as we are motivated to get home to see family and friends. We are also beginning to tire of all the planning, weather watching, and cute little towns to visit heading up the east coast. Suffice it to say that we can both live without visiting one more maritime museum-maybe next year!

Our trip today.
