We spent the past several days cleaning the boat and getting it ready for travel. Dan added a back up camera-I guess I have been fired🤪- and a new spotlight as there may be times we will need to travel in the dark down the rivers. We plan on leaving Hammond, IL on Tuesday (10/10). Plenty of time to prepare for the next leg of our trip.

We also took some time to visit with our “looper“ friends Susan and Chuck and Atillio and Kathy who traveled the Wisconsin side of the lake. Typically on this trip you make the choice of going down either the Michigan or the Wisconsin side of Lake Michigan. Since it took about a month to travel down the coast it has been some time since seeing many of our new friends.
