Long ride, but great run today heading to Nashville. Fortunately we breezed through the lock with no waiting. We arrived by 4p.m., plenty of time before dark. The Country Music Awards were happening tonight and some of the boaters on the dock were attending. The city was packed.

Our friends from “No Worries” are from Kentucky and had some friends offer to take us around town. Did you know there is a Parthenon in Nashville?! Visited the Parthenon, the arboretum and took in the architectural sites. Of course we stopped to have Bar-b-cue as well. Nice day that ended in dinner on Broadway.
